Purpose
- You are responsible for providing guidance and support in the areas of health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) management.
- You ensure that all operational activities comply with HSSE regulations and standards, driving continuous improvement and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.
Responsibilities
- You implement and maintain HSSE programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- You conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and analysis, recommending and implementing control measures to mitigate identified risks.
- You monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSSE regulations and standards, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
- You design and deliver HSSE Awareness campaigns to employees at all levels, enhancing their awareness and understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- You support environmental management initiatives, ensuring that operational activities minimize environmental impact and comply with environmental regulations.
- You develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring that the organization is prepared to effectively respond to potential incidents.
- You conduct regular HSSE audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in an HSSE role, preferably within the oil and gas industry or another high-risk sector.
