ROLE PURPOSE:
The IFS Developer will be responsible for the IFS implementations, its technical expertise and its maintenance.
As a technical point of contact, IFS Developer will be responsible for IFS modules implementation and maintenance, IFS reports delivery, IFS replication monitoring and resolution, IFS data models conception and IFS Data repair and load.
The IFS Developer will be maintaining and controlling the technical integration surrounding the IFS solution (applications, databases, and systems).
The IFS Developer will also be troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to IFS and its landscape and will ensure the execution of the governance and quality of the documentation.
ROLE CONTRIBUTION:
- IFS Implementation and Optimization: Technically implement, test, and deliver IFS components, ensuring optimal performance across replication, integrations, and CRIMs (Configuration, Reports, Interfaces, Modifications).
- IFS Replication support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize IFS replication to maintain consistent performance.
- Data modeling: Provide and maintain IFS data for third-party solutions, preserving the integrity of the IFS data model and ensuring thorough documentation.
- Data repair and Data Loading: Evaluate, develop, test, and deploy data repair scripts and IFS migration jobs to address data integrity needs and support on the IFS main go-lives.
- Integration Management: Oversee and test integrations between IFS and other applications, databases, and systems, ensuring database integrity and system compatibility.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to IFS in collaboration with external partners, including the Application Maintenance & Support partner and IFS provider.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IFS Solution Leads, Solution Architects, and IT teams to ensure technical deliverables meet business requirements, undergo thorough testing, and integrate smoothly within the company ecosystem.
- User Support: Deliver technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving IFS-related technical challenges.
- Documentation and Standards: Maintain documentation for technical components, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance IFS implementation and integration processes, incorporating emerging trends and technologies.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of ERP Solution technical architecture (IFS experience preferred).
- Proficiency in IFS Applications 10 (IFS Cloud experience is an advantage).
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills for database development and maintenance.
- Knowledge of replication mechanisms in decentralized architecture.
- Knowledge of data architecture and modeling.
- Expertise in integration technologies and protocols, including web services, XML, and REST APIs.
- Experience with middleware platforms, such as DellBoomi and Azure Integration Services.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and Oracle database systems.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Data factory, and Data Lakehouse is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident tracking, service requests, and general usage.
