The IFS Technical Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical integrations between IFS and other applications, databases, and systems. Will be the technical point of contact for implementation and maintenance activities related to the Software itself, to the replication mechanism and any integrations surrounding the IFS solution. The IFS Technical Specialist will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to integrations and ensuring that all integrations are properly documented.

 

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the development, technical tests and DB integrity checks for integrations between IFS and other applications, databases, and systems
  • Monitor the replication and coordinate resolution of technical issues
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the IFS Solution incl. replication, integrations and CRIMs.
  • Collaborate with IFS Solution Leads, IFS Solution Architect and IT Teams to ensure that technical deliveries meet business needs, are properly tested and compliant with the overall company ecosystem
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IFS Solution in collaboration with External Partners and IFS solution provider
  • Monitor integration performance and proactively identify and address performance issues
  • Ensure that technical components are properly documented and adhere to applicable standards and regulations
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolving technical issues
  • Continuously evaluate and improve integration processes and technologies
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in integration and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (IFS is preferred)

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining integrations between enterprise systems, preferably IFS
  • Good understanding of ERP Solution technical architecture (IFS is preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of replication mechanism on a decentralized software architecture
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies and protocols, such as web services, XML, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with middleware platforms, such as DellBoomi, Azure Integration Services
  • Knowledge of database systems, such as SQL Server, Oracle
  • Knowledge of AZURE Datafactory, Datalakehouse is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Data Architecture and modelling is an added advantage
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Professional communication in English both verbal and written
