Purpose

  • As Indirect Category Manager, you are responsible for strategically managing the indirect procurement activities within specific categories. This role involves overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, and management of contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery of goods and services.

Responsibilities

  • · You develop category strategies to optimize our supply chain processes and drive cost /schedule savings and increase in quality
  • · You conduct market analysis to identify reliable suppliers, assess market trends, and mitigate procurement risks
  • · You lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • · You collaborate with business owners to understand their requirements and align procurement strategies
  • · You monitor supplier performance and conduct reviews to evaluate supplier capabilities, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • · Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • · Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • · Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and market research.
  • · Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
