RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS

We are seeking for a highly motivated Finance Innovation specialist to join our team. The Finance Innovation specialist plays a pivotal role in driving forward-thinking initiatives within the finance function, leveraging technology, data analytics and strategic insights to optimize financial processes. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, innovation mindset and project management skills to identify opportunities for improvement and implement new solutions.

• Project Support: Assist in the development and execution of innovation projects within the finance department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, create project plans, and track progress towards milestones.
• Process optimization: Contribute to streamline financial process and workflows through the adoption of automation, digitalization. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in financial processes and implement enhanced solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function, encouraging team members to share ideas.
• Change Management: Support internal change initiatives within the finance function. Assist in managing change resistance and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Data-driven decision making: Contribute to the definition / implementation of BI dashboards (collect requirements, mockup definition …) and work closely with the BI developer.
• Development: Work closely with senior team members to design and develop mockups for new financial products / services (Power platform) or processes (Visio / Miro).
• Testing and Evaluation: Participate in testing to assess the viability and effectiveness of innovative solutions. Collect feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and improve mockups.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation (progress reports, and presentations) to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Summarize insights gained from research and experimentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Specific skills / expertise / product: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science or related field.
• Proven experience (2/3 years) in innovation with a focus on finance, process improvement or project management.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial principles, practices.
