Purpose
- The International Mobility Officer is responsible for handling the transactional activities of the entire International Assignment process, ensuring seamless coordination and providing continuous support to assignees throughout their assignments.
Responsibilities
- Transactional and Administrative Support to the IM Outbound Specialist.
- Prepare assignment letters in People Doc, in accordance with International Mobility policies.
- Ensure compliance with IM rules and Policies
- Ensure internal documentation is consistently followed and regularly updated if required
- Interface with different stakeholders for initiation of mobilizations (e.g. Tax Provider Initiation, Shipping Company)
- Responsible for managing the assignment/position management in the HR system (SAP Success Factors), therefore ensuring the accuracy and quality of data throughout the process
- Update the IM headcount of International Assignee population and maintain accuracy of the mobile workforce.
- Time on / Time off administration for International Assignees by ensuring monthly benefit calculation through the Monthly Time Sheets system by granting corresponding allowances (as per International Mobility policies)
- Propose improvements to the processes under their responsibility (e.g. data quality, monitor of the invoices for shipment services, Tax Provider Authorisation, etc.)
- Request Purchase Orders, follow up with pending approvals and wrong/unpaid invoices.
- Monitor the status of the POs and follow up with AP or the supplier.
- Participation to IM Group activities and IM project
Education
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Law or Business Administration
Experience
- 0 to 2 years of experience in International Mobility within a global environment, preferably in a shared service center.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with SuccessFactors will be a plus
- Good English level
- Good organizational skills; able to work with priorities
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and work priorities
- Pro-active and on top of things
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality performance and positive attitude
