PURPOSE

 

As Local Content Lead you are responsible for the local content performance and reporting, while supporting the implementation of sustainability, wellbeing, and ID&E initiatives. You also assist in local events and communication activities to engage stakeholders and promote the company locally.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on local content performance, communicating findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to gather data on local sourcing, providing insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to local content activities, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
  • Implement locally the Group’s initiatives and actions related to sustainability, wellbeing, and inclusion, diversity & equity (IDE), ensuring alignment with global priorities and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Support the Country General Manager in the planning and delivery of local events and internal initiatives, fostering employee engagement and reinforcing the company’s values and identity.
  • Contribute to the development of communication and promotional materials for internal and external stakeholders, helping strengthen the company’s visibility, reputation, and positioning in the local context.
  • Stay updated on local content regulations and best practices, ensuring that the organization remains compliant and competitive in its local content efforts.
  • Perform recommendations and share information with relevant stakeholders in case of changes in regulations.
  • Collaborate with external partners and local suppliers, analyzing their contributions to ensure they meet the organization’s local content goals.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Recent Communications, Marketing, Event Management or a related degree required, preferably obtained within the last 2 years;
  • Ability and desire to travel internationally;
  • Capable of undertaking challenging assignments and possess quality leadership;
  • Computer literate in all standard software applications, very good command of word processing, spreadsheets, and databases;
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written);
  • Have a demonstrated ability to interact successfully with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which includes a willingness to be tolerant of differing opinions and views;
  • Organization and communication skills (both written and verbally).

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

  • Monday to Friday, office hours;
  • Office location: Matosinhos - Leça do Balio;
  • Busy, fast-paced environment.

 

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

 

  • 12 months Internship;
  • Competitive compensation.
