RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS
 

  • Be accountable with the Oil System Lead to the asset leadership team for delivering system health, value or exposure, and budget;
  • Engage across Operations, Maintenance, and Technical to facilitate objective over asset lifecycle;
  • Focal point with the Oil System Lead for external stakeholders including technology, supply chain, maintenance, group, LL, Asset Surveillance & Intelligence (AS&I), all AI pillars, fleet;
  • Ensure continuous improvement of his/her system design to make the fleet safer, more sustainability and more profitable;
  • Develop and continuously improve the system KPIs and surveillance requirements;
  • Monitor overall activities in the surveillance area;
  • Collaborate with other system engineers and leads to ensure accurate prioritization across systems within each FPSO;
  • Participate to tactical - rapid response to Offshore leadership team on any incident or failure within the system he/she is responsible for;
  • Support oversight of maintenance plan in collaboration with the Oil System Lead – right condition monitoring, right program, right annual maintenance plan;
  • Contribute to development and implementation of the Smart Operation Production Hub Roadmap boosting efficiency and uptime of the system/systems he/she is responsible for, through monitoring, surveillance, and predictive technologies;
  • Contribute to develop and update 3Y plans and unit budgets with the Gas Compression System Lead;
  • Participate to definition of performance baselines and map performance improvements vs initiatives deployed on each unit;
  • Build up comprehensive and exhaustive Production System dashboard and KPIs to monitor performance, assess weakness & strengths;
  • Track key initiatives and QnA/MOC to improve system performance, track implementation of Safety/Maintenance Alerts;
  • Assist the Asset Surveillance & Intelligence (AS&I) engineers for abnormal behaviors validation and definition of corrective actions;
  • Track abnormal behaviors and implementation of remedial actions;
  • Provide analyses and propose recommendations to improve systems performance with respect to safety, sustainability, and reliability. For example: identify financial exposure inventory and lead the system bad actor elimination program within the system he/she is responsible for;
  • Steward spare part stock to ensure minimum levels are maintained;
  • Align with maintenance coordinator to ensure all maintenance tasks are adequately grouped within the system to minimize system downtime;
  • Review planned shutdown scopes and ensure key tasks for system are adequately captured;
  • Review System related CO2 emissions to identify abnormal behaviors and make recommendations for emission reductions;
  • Implement and nourish a learning culture within the team;
  • Maintain relationships and steward performance of strategic suppliers;
  • Lead pilot projects/initiatives for implementing systems engineering approach in shore bases, offshore and in our designs;
  • Conduct audits of system and mobilize offshore as necessary;
  • Participate to HAZOP and HAZID as required.



JOB REQUIREMENTS

Specific skills / expertise / product:  

  • Process Engineer;
  • Minimum 8 years in Oil and Gas Industry;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation and in relation with the system he will lead;
  • Field Experience is required;
  • FPSO experience is required;
  • Familiarized with working procedure, regulatory compliance, and offshore constraints;
  • Enthusiastic person;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English;
  • Able to travel abroad and offshore on short or long duration basis as required;
  • Able to bring a global understanding of a system;
  • Be an expert in the system she/he will lead;
  • Have experience with engineering, commissioning, and operation activities.
