Purpose
- The Regional Process Safety Manager is responsible for managing the Major Accident Hazard progams within their Region.
- You resource and implement the Operations Risk initiatives, deliverables and day to day activities in your region.
Responsibilities
- You implement GEMS processes in the region, compiling frontline feedback and improvements, and submitting them to the global team for review and integration.
- You develop the regional 3-year plan aligned with the overall operations risk 3-year plan. You resource the activities and frontline support required to meet the 3-year plan objectives.
- You interface with internal stakeholders in the region and assist in ensuring alignment of activities related to MAH management. You also interface with regional clients, regulators, and other external stakeholders to communicate COMPANY processes for managing MAH risks.
- You provide feedback to the global organization regarding any concerns that need to be escalated.
- You manage the regional team of resources and help develop the team's competence in executing their day-to-day activities.
Education
- Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or simlar.
Experience
- Over 15 years experience in process safety, technical safety or other technical risk dicsiplne (such as technical authority).
- At least 5 years experience in offshore operations (for the Region 1 or 2) or in project execution (for Region 3) of offshore assets.
- At least 5 years experience in project or unit team management.
