Responsabilities & Main Tasks

 

The Payroll and Benefits Officer ensures the accurate and timely preparation and registration of all offshore employee benefits in the payroll system, adhering to group procedures, internal controls, and local regulations.

 

  • Understand the payroll solution (ADP Decidium and ADP Abacus) as well as interface with HRIS (SAP Succesfactors) and accounting systems;
  • Collect all payroll information monthly and process it in the payroll software;
  • Responsible for third party payments (retirement savings, medical coverage, life & disability premiums);
  • Prepare payments for management’s approval by collecting all the necessary back-up documents;
  • Prepare the payroll audit documents and gather all requested audits documents from HR Admin team;
  • Responsible for the reconciliation on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis of all ledger accounts impacted by the payroll;
  • Responsible for reporting any issue to the Payroll&Benefits Manager (HRIS reporting, accounting problem, payroll software problem);
  • Ensure smooth communication with the main stakeholders in HR (HR Business Partners, Crew Logistics, local payroll team, HRIS team, HR admin) to ensure accuracy in all payroll benefits and contractual information;
  • Prepare Headcount and other ad hoc payroll reporting;
  • Support closely the employees in understanding their benefits and payslips, through tickets raised on internal platform (Service Now);
  • Maintain and keep up-to-date internal procedures and process descriptions and proactively be engaged in process improvements;
  • Timely delivery internal KPI’s to Payroll Management.

 

Job Requirements

 

Specific skills / expertise / product: 

 

  • A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or similar, ideally with payroll specialty;
  • More than 2 years’ experience working in payroll;
  • Experience in offshore payroll would be a plus;
  • Good understanding of payroll processes;
  • Great domain of excel.

  • Ability to manage complexity and timelines;
  • Detail oriented and analytical work style;
  • Great communication and ability to work in an international environment.
