Responsibilities & Main Tasks

As a Risk & Internal Control Analyst, you identify and assess risks while evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls to ensure compliance and operational stability. You analyze data, detect trends, and recommend mitigation strategies to strengthen risk management and control frameworks. You support audits, address control deficiencies, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance governance and decision-making. Your role is key in improving risk resilience and ensuring robust internal controls.

You are to:

  • Identify and document risks and key controls across the organization.
  • Critically review, assess and enhance the Internal Control framework and risk management processes.
  • Align the Internal Control & Risk Mangement Framework with developed End-to-End processes.
  • Suggest risk and control improvements, leveraging automation for more efficient testing.
  • Support the expansion of risk & control management beyond financial & non-financial reporting, including Supply Chain and ESG activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments, monitor emerging risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Track and support remediation initiatives from Group Internal Audit.
  • Support the planing and coordination of the yearly Internal Control Campaign in alignment with.
  • Support and document Risk Appetite Statement Campaing, with the Risk Owners and Governance structures.
  • Support and guide Internal Control (Super) Champions within the business.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during internal control and risk management testing.
  • Support the risk governance structures with the usage of Risk Management and Internal Control tools.
  • Assist in the implementation of the ICOFR framework for the new ERP system.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of risk and internal control processes to strengthen compliance and governance.

 

Role Requirements

  • Master degree in Finance and /or Internal Control/Audit
  • 3 years of experience focusing on :
    • i) the successful (efficient and effective) execution of Risk Management & Internal Control Frameworks in a global organization, and
    • ii) proven knowledge and experience of the application of controls with an integrated IT environment preferably embedding ERP system.
  • With the process of risk management proven experience on the identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting phases. This experience is combined in a profile with a pro-active attitude, team spirit and excellent communication skills
