Maintenance Strategy Engineer

Role Purpose
Guarantee the reliability of the units through maintenance strategy review, reducing the breakdowns and Maintenance Costs, increasing the revenue.
Role Contribution
- Contribute to Assets Integrity Department Process and Procedures creation and reviews of maintenance strategies.
- Guarantee CMMS Conformity.
- Contribute to assets criticality definition.
- Perform RCM and FMEA/ FMECA studies to define/ improve Maintenance Strategy for Global fleet for marine and machinery equipment.
- Perform Maintenance Plan review to improve effectiveness and efficiency, based on feedback from operations, maintenance manuals, standards, regulatory and market best practices.
- Construct detailed job cards for fleet Maintenance Plan informing:
- Activity step by step
- Activity step duration
- Manpower required to execute each step
- Tools and special tools required to execute each step
- Consumables and spares required to execute each step
- Risks associated to each step
- Other resources required to perform the job
- Perform reliability studies, (e.g. probability of failure on demand on specific running hours intervals), to support managerial decisions.
Functional Competencies
- Engineer background (Naval, Machinery or mechanical are preferred)
- Previous experience in offshore O&G Industry and/or other industries
- Experienced on Maintenance Plan creation and/or revision
- Experienced in Failure Analysis
- Analytical and logical reasoning ability
- Previous experience with CMMS (Maximo, SAP, others)
- Microsoft office domain
- Note: Excel – Required advanced level (e.g. knows how to use pivot table, knows how to use complex formulas, know how to manage charts and pivot chart, etc.)
