Maintenance Strategy Engineer

Role Purpose

Guarantee the reliability of the units through maintenance strategy review, reducing the breakdowns and Maintenance Costs, increasing the revenue.

Role Contribution

1. Contribute to Assets Integrity Department Process and Procedures creation and reviews of maintenance strategies.
2. Guarantee CMMS Conformity.
3. Contribute to assets criticality definition.
4. Perform RCM and FMEA/ FMECA studies to define/ improve Maintenance Strategy for Global fleet for marine and machinery equipment.
5. Perform Maintenance Plan review to improve effectiveness and efficiency, based on feedback from operations, maintenance manuals, standards, regulatory and market best practices.
6. Construct detailed job cards for fleet Maintenance Plan informing:
   1. Activity step by step
   2. Activity step duration
   3. Manpower required to execute each step
   4. Tools and special tools required to execute each step
   5. Consumables and spares required to execute each step
   6. Risks associated to each step
   7. Other resources required to perform the job
7. Perform reliability studies, (e.g. probability of failure on demand on specific running hours intervals), to support managerial decisions.

Functional Competencies

1. Engineer background (Naval, Machinery or mechanical are preferred)
2. Previous experience in offshore O&G Industry and/or other industries
3. Experienced on Maintenance Plan creation and/or revision
4. Experienced in Failure Analysis
5. Analytical and logical reasoning ability
6. Previous experience with CMMS (Maximo, SAP, others)
7. Microsoft office domain
   1. Note: Excel – Required advanced level (e.g. knows how to use pivot table, knows how to use complex formulas, know how to manage charts and pivot chart, etc.)
