Role Purpose

As Topside Structural Engineer, you manage the Assets Integrity Topside structural discipline in the Region by proper planning and budgeting. You contribute to the Strategy and Governance of structural integrity and dropped objects prevention  considering best practices, regulatory requirements and engineering design. You ensure adherence through regular audits and contribute to Continuous Improvement of processes and systems. 

Role Responsibilities

• You ensure the integrity and safety of topside structures by ensuring compliance by following up on Class issues, local & Flag regulations.
• You review and approve reports and specifications for inspection and repairs and monitor and report the working progress of the inspection campaigns through KPIs and dashboarding.
• You develop the inspection plans and guarantee adherence in terms of timing and budget
• You prepare the budget for the inspections campaigns and follow up during the year with Operations team to support its achievement. 
• You issue, record, and manage technical inspection recommendations in CMMS. 
• You support the development or qualification of new technologies for the inspection and repair of topsides structures and you engage with industry players on best practices
• You represent Operations in strategical and tactical meetings with all Regional stakeholders in the Region in synergy with the Global Topsides structural Lead.
• You participate/Lead Incident investigations
• You audit the Region according to the Audit/RAVA Plan.
• You plan and budget 3 Years Plan activities related to your discipline
• You take care of training your resources and subcontractors
