        ROLE PROPOSE 

 

        The Project Engineer leads the implementation of modifications and upgrade projects in SBM’s fleet, as well as the timely completion of specific tasks, as assigned by the Project Manager, in accordance with both contractual and SBM’s internal requirements.

 

       ROLE CONTRIBUTION

 

  • Lead the complete project life cycle for Brownfield initiatives in SBM’s offshore units.
  • Develop budgets, cost estimations and business cases.
  • Ensure effective communication across various internal Projects’ members and stakeholders to allow the timely exchange of the information required to perform assigned tasks.
  • Ensure that delegation throughout the team to enable quick and well-informed decisions, while maintaining an appropriate level of control.
  • Support the PMT members to remain focused on Project Objective.
  • Manage specific tasks when required, organizing, controlling and reporting as required.

 

        REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Degree in Mechanical / Marine / Electrical / Chemical Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in leading projects in O&G offshore industry or Construction in Shipyards.
  • Knowledge in various disciplines such as construction, electrical, instrumentation, piping and structural.
  • Knowledgeable in FPSO vessels and marine systems.
  • Experience with Brownfield Projects is an advantage.
  • PMP certification or Postgraduate degree in Project Management is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English, both verbally as well as in writing.
