ROLE PURPOSE
- The Cost Controller acts as a businesspartner for the assigned remit, accountable for your stakeholders to achieve business objectives in operational effectiveness and efficiency, reliable financial reporting and compliance with laws, regulations and standards.
- You are to give expert advice, offering insights, ideas and recommendations on topics that impact the business, whilst ensuring that the key messages of your expertise area are understood and followed.
- You align your work to SBM’s and the relevant expertise area strategy, by proactively planning and completing activity, with accuracy and on-time deliverables.
- You ensure a strong focus on and alignment with SBM’s Values. You design, interpret, apply and uphold SBM’s policies and procedures with a high degree of customer focus and confidentiality.
ROLE CONTRIBUTION
- Preparation of monthly Cost Control Report by unit with analysis of distortion regarding to budget projections and any intermediate (Mid Year Forecast, Rolling Forecast, etc);
- Preparation of the Budget together with the Operations Team, Monthly Forecasts projections and all projectios to attend the Board needs;
- Ensure the availability of the information appropriately to managers, helping the adequacy of the system to the necessity of information with greater reliability and speed;
- Month end closing tasks: accounting reconciliations, consolidation by business unit, etc.;
- Financial planning and control of expenses by indicating trends and preventive actions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree ompleted
- Solid experience on Cost Control and Finance Procedures
- Knowledge on Power BI
- Advanced English
