Responsibilities:
- Implementation of specific contracts with ship owner for chartering Suppliers
- Interface, manage and put in place module lift and transportation when not done by PMT
- Participate in the qualification, selection of vessel owners / Brokers; in collaboration with the Logistics Category Manager and Global Logistics service Manager
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirement of identified vendors
- Report on shipping market trends, fleet utilization (HLV/Deck Carriers…), and overall Monitor market dynamics
- Maintain and Develop a strong panel of approved vessel owners, Brokers, & other industry stakeholders to perform Charter Parties on projects or for PL when needed
- Manage directly Special and critical Out of Gauge Transports (such as Modules, High Sea Towage ….) from RFQ to Execution via Award (Charter Party)
- Support Projects/Depts logistics coordinators on Out of Gauge Transports
- Implementation of specific contracts and terms with vessel owners, and brokers
- Support GLM for any specific transportation execution
- Liaise with allocated engineering support for loading and sea fastening plan
- Liaise with MWS when needed and issue the PO on behalf of projects and ensure optimization and synergy between TK and OPS
- Assist in providing cost estimation to the Estimation Department during Company's tendering process
Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) x years’ experience in an EPC project logistics environment preferably within the oil and gas sector
- Experienced in handling airfreight, ocean freight (containerized and breakbulk)
- Experience with import and export customs requirements within the oil and gas environment, including deliveries to and from fabrication yards operating under specific customs regimes (fabrication zones, free trade zones etc)
- Experience managing subcontractors such as Freight Forwarders
- Good knowledge of INCO terms and associated rules
