Job Description - Preservation Lead:
Define the project preservation process, roles and responsibilities, and interfaces for the full project cycle.
Prepare Project Preservation Specification (RFQ/PO) and FPSO (General) Project Preservation Plan.
Develop the structure of preservation register in early project phase.
Act as single point contact for the preservation register, to maintain records and monitor preservation activities to build up vendor documentation as issued from the Package Managers (PKM).
Set-up engineering preservation dashboard to report the progress of vendor documentation review and approval and preservation-ITR readiness in the ECOM database.
Support Package Manager (PKM) as required, to process technical queries related to preservation and to coordinate necessary engineering response.
Clarify preservation documentation requirements and quality inspection with vendor in RFQ process at BCM and follow up in KOM.
Participate in the clarification and qualification in the yard bidding process with Construction Manager and Area Project Managers regarding preservation scope, organization, manpower and quality system.
Organize as required, dedicated vendor workshop for preservation ITR and inspection with Package Manager for long lead and critical packages.
Support Project Engineering Manager (PEM) to process site and offshore queries related to preservation and coordinate necessary engineering resources on the project.
Review vendor preservation documents and call for ad-hoc review by Preservation Superintendent or other construction team members for preservation critical packages.
Organization preservation process workshop with engineering, procurement, construction operation to validate steps taken for preservation.
Align with preservation superintendent and construction manager to ensure that site monitoring approach has consistent elements that enable cross project assessment and improvement.
Coordinate with Area Project Managers and Project Quality Manager in all preservation aspects where needed.
Align project team approach to preservation internal issues and those with vendor and construction yards and take ownership in the delivery of preservation communication on a day to basis and thru project life cycle.
- Job requirements
School/studies/degree:
- Bachelor’s degree (BAC+ 5), preferably in engineering discipline
Experience:
- Minimum 5-year experiences in Oil and Gas industry, preferably with offshore projects.
- Demonstrable performance within the field of preservation, on large EPCI projects
- Proven track record in working within EPC project teams
