Project Control Engineer

Purpose
- As a Project Control Engineer, you are responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring the progress of SBM projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Planning and Scheduling: You develop and maintain detailed project schedules, incorporating all phases from design to commissioning. You use tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project for schedule management.
- Cost Control: You prepare, monitor, and update project budgets. You track expenditures and analyze variances to ensure financial control.
- Progress Monitoring: You collect and analyze data to assess project performance. You produce regular progress reports, highlighting any issues or deviations.
- Risk Management: You identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. You implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
- Coordination: You collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication across all project activities.
- Documentation: You maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders.
- Compliance: You ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience
- · Experience in project controls within the oil and gas industry.
- · Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- · Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- · Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
