RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to improve facility uptime and reliability we are implementing a program of abnormal behavior setting and detection on the operating data that is available onshore through the satellite connection with offshore. Implementation is on all offshore processing systems like oil production, gas compression and processing, produced water treatment, seawater treatment and injection, utilities etc. We are looking for an enthusiastic Automation engineer with an affinity for operational data analysis and smart tools to support us with the successful implementation of this program

 

MAIN TASKS
· Support the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation team on matters related to fire & gas surveillance, alarm management and process control assessment using data handling and analysis.
· Work closely with Reliability team to define best strategy to elevate ways of working by sharing the instruments that are already in the monitoring scope using digital applications
· Assist with developing operational intelligence and fleet wide optimizations
· Perform data analysis provided by digital applications to address process gaps and identify improvements.
· Be the focal point for alarm management matters, elaborate and maintain internal dashboards as well as periodically meeting with offshore team to raise bad actors.
· Monitor and identify Fire & gas and overall instruments deviations over daily routine, reporting them to proper stakeholders for action taking.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
· Identifying systems that need process control optimization.
· Play a key role on process control surveillance


JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Graduation: Automation, Instrumentation or chemical engineering
· Bachelor or Master graduate with >5 years’ experience, preferable experience on FPSO operations or Operations support in general and affinity with tools to make smart use of operating data (Abnormal behavior detection, etc).
· Experience in process control engineering role and control tuning/simulation.
· Affinity with tools to make smart use of operating data (Abnormal behavior detection etc).
· Good interpersonal communication
· Ability to work well in teams

· Hands-on spirit profile
· Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving
· Ability to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
