Purpose
- As Asset Surveillance & Intelligence Process Engineer, You detect equipment failure mode degradation and operating window deviations on the offshore assets, using the appropriate data analytics tools for that, and process the abnormal behavior alerts into effective maintenance recommendations that you track till completion. You support improving the surveillance tools and algorithms through continuous feedback on e.g. false positives and other surveillance performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- You perform Asset Surveillance aiming at early detection of anomalies and failure modes on the offshore assets processes and equipment in your technical discipline and assigned systems/assets to enable early intervention to restore the anomaly and improve asset performance.
- You perform the Asset Surveillance with the relevant available Asset Surveillance tools.
- You process surveillance alerts from relevant surveillance tools into either a maintenance recommendatiom, perform a finetuning on the algoritms that triggered the alert or raise a request for algorithm review/improvement.
- You ensure maintenance recommendations are defined with the right priority.
- You use AB tracker for the alert processing and engage in periodic review sessions on alert management in general or for specific sets of algoritms/tools.
- You follow up on outstanding actions/maintenance recommendations and review effectiveness after execution/feedback.
- You execute the asset surveillance in line with management system expectations and KPI targets.
- You liaise closely with central Asset Surveillance & Intelligence (ASI) department and other relevant department on surveillance tool and algorithm continuous improvement.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering. Equivalent qualifications in relevant disciplines may also be considered.
Experience
- Experience, ideally within an operational energy industry or processing environment.
- Preferred at least 2 years asset surveillance with process data analytics experience and/or predictive maintenance.
