ROLE PURPOSE
• Cost Control lead acts as business partner for your fleet, accountable for your stakeholders to achieve business objectives and ensure finance deliverables achieve the quality in data integrity, reliability, accurate reporting and compliance with laws, regulations and standards.
• You are to give expertise advice, offer ideas, insights and recommendations and participate in specific projects as an expert in your respective area. You advise & challenge the business on risks that may arise as a result of intended decisions. You advise of alternatives/ solutions and therefore ensure balanced decisions are made.
• You have a significant role in training, mentoring and developing your team members in various technical tasks, ensuring they follow the company’s policies, procedures and adhere to best practices throughout the entire process with accuracy and on time deliverables.
• You ensure strong focus on and alignment with SBM’s values. You design, interpret, apply and uphold SBM’s policies and procedures with a high degree of customer focus and confidentiality.
ROLE CONTRIBUTION
• Coordinate your fleet budget preparation following management strategic goals and detailing it into action plan, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Establish a clear financial target for the next three years with robust support documentation.
• Supervise fleet monthly cost control report including review and actual sign-off, Analise distortion regarding to budget projections and any intermediate forecast (Mid-Year forecast and rolling forecast) Ensure availability of financial performance and KPI’s information to managers as well as analysis & explanation of budget variances and cash projection.
• Ensure your fleet operates cost-effectively by monitoring and analyzing revenue and cost, identify cost-saving opportunities, collaborate with stakeholders, and prepare timely, accurate financial reports to support management decision-making and provide strategic financial guidance. Ensuring compliance with audit and financial standards.
• Sustain with enthusiasm your team development while we navigate around complexity, promote motivating working environment. mentoring talents and ensuring expected performance level.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree completed
• Solid experience on Cost Control and Finance Procedures
• Experience in supervising teams and driving team performance
• Experience with financial internal and external stakeholders including external auditors
• Advanced English
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Power Bi and ERP
