Purpose
- You support the Management of Change (MOC) process by evaluating and implementing changes across regional operations to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. You report to the Regional MOC Team Lead, you play a key role in risk assessments and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- You review and assess proposed changes to operational processes, equipment, and procedures to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards.
- You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including operations, technical team, engineering, and HSE/PSM to gather information for change evaluations.
- You document and track changes, ensuring all MOC records are accurate and complete for audit and compliance purposes.
- You participate in risk assessments and hazard reviews, ensuring all potential risks related to changes are identified and mitigated.
- You support the Regional MOC Team Lead by providing technical input on complex changes and ensuring smooth implementation.
- You communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that changes are understood and any impacts on operations are minimized.
- You ensure all changes comply with internal policies and external regulations, maintaining a high standard of operational integrity.
- You provide feedback on the MOC process to drive improvements and contribute to a safer, more efficient work environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical preferred) or a related technical field.
- Certification in Risk Management or related fields is an advantage.
Experience
- Experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on process safety, risk assessment, or project engineering.
- Hands-on experience with MOC systems and regulatory compliance is essential.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively manage technical reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
