Job description

In the role of Aveva Diagrams and Engineering Coordinator you will be assigned to one of our challenging FPSO projects, where you will report to the Process Lead Engineer.

Meanwhile you develop yourself further as an expert in use of Aveva Diagrams and Aveva Engineering software to manage engineering data efficiently during our project execution.

As you are curious and like to learn, you like to stay abreast with the current and latest Aveva software developments and relevant industry engineering practices.
 

Job requirements

SBM Schiedam is looking for candidates with a Bachelors or Master degree in Chemical Engineering.

  • You have 5 – 10 years of experience as a process engineer in design of oil & gas production facilities and/or refinery units.
  • You will act as a focal point for Intelligent P&IDs and Engineering Database on projects.
  • You will coordinate work with multiple disciplines in multiple office locations.
  • You have a hands-on mentality to resolve drafting errors on intelligent P&IDs and support remote designer team for the same.
  • You will identify and fix inconsistencies between intelligent P&IDs and Engineering database
  • You will provide training to the newcomers, attend to questions and assistance requests from engineers in their daily engineering data input activities.

You have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with intelligent P&ID development and Engineering Databases (Aveva Diagrams and Aveva Engineering software is preferred)
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu software
  • P&ID planning & management of electronic masters
  • Knowledge of interfaces with other disciplines like Piping, Instrumentation and Mechanical
  • Providing process input through Engineering Database (e.g. Line List process data, Instrument process data, Equipment List process data)
  • Experience with development of P&ID, Line List, Instrument Datasheets, Equipment List
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language in verbal and written communication
