RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Analyse contract after handover and prepare financial Project Summary.
  • Ensure that project taxation is properly handled in conjunction with Tax Counsel
  • Prepare and issue monthly Project Financial Forecast
  • Control all accounting flows that impacts the project, including intercompany transactions
  • A thorough monthly tracking of the Percentage of Completion (PoC) including booking of Accruals (check consistency with the physical progress)
  • Prepare the monthly Cash Planning Report, ensure the S-Curve is consistent with the PoC
  • Prepare a Manpower Forecast Report in liaison with stakeholders
  • Prepare specific monthly reports at client or partner request.
  • Review and validate change orders for input in forecast
  • Control budgets in supply chain software.
  • Verify purchase requisitions (budgets, amounts and codes) before approval by Project Manager.
  • Issue NBVs and PBVs as necessary, in close cooperation with Project Control Manager.
  • Control suppliers' payments with e-SR software.
  • Prepare client invoices according to contractual terms with adequate back-up and book accounting records.
  • Prepare & update a Client Register.
  • Control client payments allocations in accounting system.
  • Follow up client invoices date of receipt, payments from clients and Issue reminders when necessary.
  • Prepare project finalization. Provisions to be followed until project closing in accounting.
  • Prepare audit files for the semester review.
  • Prepare a Project Finalized Report.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Business School or financial / accounting related degree,

Experience: Over 5 years in costs control (Senior) in an international environment.

Specific competencies (knowledge or know how) which are a key factor for the position:

  • Accounting and administrative skills
  • Analytical skills – analyze financial data and interpret results effectively
  • Data Analysis tools  such Power BI (as a nice to have)
  • Excel skills – proficient in advanced functions
  • Communication skills – strong verbal and written communication to present finding clearly
  • Teamwork – Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Adaptability – Flexibility to adapt to changing work environment and priorities
  • Fluent In English
