OVERALL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER (OVERALL EPM)

 

As Overall EPM you report directly to the Project Manager and have overall responsibility and accountability for the timely delivery and technical quality of the Hull, Topsides and Mooring engineering and design.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership for Planning, Execution, and Close-out of the engineering scope of work, on time and within budget
  • Compliance with all safety, environmental, company and regulatory requirements
  • Interfacing with internal stakeholders (PMT, Supply Chain, Construction, Operations) and external parties (such as Client, Class, Regulatory Bodies), etc.
  • Effective communication of team expectations (objectives), scope, strategy, execution roadmap and constraints
  • Safety and wellbeing of your project team
  • Continuous improvement

  

Role requirements
SBM Schiedam is looking for candidates who have a BSc. or MSc. within any relevant Engineering discipline (such as Process, Mechanical, Piping, E&I, Structural, etc.). You have at least 10 years of Offshore Engineering experience, as well as international experience in multi-disciplinary projects.

Furthermore we request the following:

  • Experience with FPSO EPC projects with at least one full project (proposal, FEED, EPCI) in an EPM role
  • Broad knowledge of Topsides and Hull related disciplines
  • Team Management experience and proven leadership qualities
  • Willingness to travel (the position is based in Schiedam, but international travel is required)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
