Simulation for TEG Dehydration System

Introduction

Are you passionate about process simulation and eager to delve into the intricate world of TEG (Tri-ethylene Glycol) dehydration systems? Look no further! We're excited to offer an internship opportunity that will allow you to explore the nuances of TEG dehydration simulation, compare industry-leading software packages, and analyze real-world operational data.

Problem Definition

TEG dehydration is a crucial process on FPSO Topsides, essential for removing water vapor from natural gas streams to meet pipeline specifications. However, designing and optimizing TEG dehydration systems require advanced simulation tools and expertise. The challenge lies in accurately predicting system performance, optimizing energy consumption, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Separator performance using MySep

Introduction

Join our team for an exciting internship opportunity focusing on the evaluation of separator performance using MySep, with a specific emphasis on the impact on inlet line sizing and upstream control valve pressure drop. This internship offers a unique chance to delve into the intricacies of separator design, exploring how various factors influence performance and efficiency.

Problem Definition

Separators play a crucial role on FPSO Topsides design, separating hydrocarbons from water and other contaminants. However, achieving optimal performance requires a deep understanding of the intricate variables involved. One such variable is the sizing of the inlet line and the pressure drop across upstream control valves, both of which significantly influence separator efficiency. Identifying how these factors affect design is essential for enhancing operational effectiveness and reducing weight & on Topsides FPSO.
