THE ROLE

The role of Group Process Safety Engineer consists in:

  • Support the implementation and improvements on PSM framework and Procedures
  • Collaborate in audit of process safety management.
  • LOPC classification, safety performance indicators monitoring, report and trend analysis.
  • Support on LOPC Investigation.
  • Follow up of Process Safety Investigations actions.
  • Development of PSM trainings.
  • Application of internal and external standards and requirements (e.g. IOGP, API, Energy institute, etc.).

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

SBM Offshore is looking for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field) with previous experience in Process Engineering or Process Safety Engineering.

 

Furthermore, you are, or you have:

  • Process Engineering and/or Process Safety background, minimum 3 year’s experience.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management Systems.
  • Good analytical capabilities.
  • Effective communication throughout all organization levels.
  • Innovative and collaborative nature.
  • Travel as international business travels may be required.

 

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

  • Contract type: Temporary (6 months) full-time position
