Role: Area Project Manager

Overview: As Area Project Manager, you are responsible for overseeing and managing specific geographic areas or segments of FPSO projects. This involves coordinating with various teams, ensuring compliance with project plans, and delivering project components within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You manage and oversee all project activities within a designated area of the FPSO project, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
  • You develop detailed area-specific project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
  • You coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of project activities.
  • You monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects targets are met
  • You ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies within the designated area.
  • You prepare and deliver area-specific project status reports, including performance metrics, financial updates and risk assessments to Senior Management.
  • You foster effective communication and collaboration among area teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • You provide technical support and guidance to project teams within the designated area.
  • You will be based in China looking after our Project Execution in the region

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Significant experience in managing FPSO projects or similar large-scale complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
