Operations Instructor

 

As Operations Instructor you are responsible for providing some of the training, Instruction, coaching, mentoring and competence assessment of offshore and onshore personnel

 

Role Contributions:

  1. In order to achieve fulfillment of the activities, YOU ARE TO:
    1. Develop and present high quality and effective theoretical and practical training and / or coaching & mentoring events for all level of staff as required by current and future business needs.
    2. Deliver high quality competence assessments on fleet FPSO units or where required in line with national and international standards
    3. Deliver clear, effective, and accurate administration of work and files
    4. Identification and use of best practice in development of material and delivery of training, coaching and competence assessment
    5. Apply national and industry standards to training products where appropriate
    6. Identification and use of supporting technology where appropriate
    7. Maintain personal skills against the requirements of the role
    8. Support innovation and continuous improvement in development and delivery of training and coaching materials
    9. High quality reporting to immediate and senior managers

    1. Fulfil responsibilities as described in GEMs
    2. Make yourself familiar with all the GEMs documents relevant to your discipline
    3. Make yourself familiar with all the GEMs documents relevant to HSSE

 

Education & Experience:

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Have a recognized qualification in training and / or education (Assessor / Verifier Awards or equivalent).
  • Have a minimum 5 years in the Oil and Gas Industry with appropriate mix of operational, training, and supervisory experience 
  • Proven effectiveness and initiative in training, coaching, development and assessment of technical personnel

 

 

 

Do you have a recognized qualification in training and or education (Assessor/Verifier awards A1 / A2 and or V1 (D32/33/34) or equivalent)?

How many years have you worked in the Oil & Gas Industry, with a mix of operational, training and supervisory experience?

 

Do you have supervisory experience of Electronic Permit to Work, Mechanical/Electrical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment?

Do you have training certificates (HUET, BOSIET and the CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System))?

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•            Recognized qualification in training and or education (Assessor/Verifier awards A1 / A2 and or V1 (D32/33/34) or equivalent), or working towards the qualification or SBM Assessor qualification.

•            15 years+ in the Oil and Gas Industry with appropriate mix of operational, training and supervisory experience.

•            Proven effectiveness and initiative in training, coaching, development and assessment of technical personnel OR 15 Years' experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utility systems offshore.

•            Supervisory experience of Electronic Permit to Work, Mechanical/Electrical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.

•            Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken

•            Ability to manage several activities in parallel, combined with flexibility and strong organization

•            Training certificates (HUET, BOSIET and the CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System))
