Purpose
As a Global HSSE Resources & Performance Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the right level of Health, Safety, Security & Environment is applied on all SBM Projects and GRS Offices worldwide through skilled and properly trained personnel. Reporting to the ESG Director, you provide discipline support and expertise to Project HSSE Managers / Leads, Site HSSE Teams, Global Office HSSE Manager, and Offshore and Brownfield HSSE Manager. You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Group Functions, Product Lines, IT, and external partners. Your are giving support and direction to the Proposal & Process Manager when it comes to FPSOs tenders and GRS - HSSE section of the GEMS. Your role is instrumental in promoting HSSE across SBM Projects and in GRS Offices worldwide.
Responsibilities
• Make sure that the Governance defined at Group Level is properly rolled-out, implemented in SBM
Projects and GRS Offices. Define needed trainings, and follow-up training matrix completion for SBM
people and contractors
• With the support of the Regulatory and E&S Manager, ensure compliance with applicable national
and/or international HSSE regulatory requirements
• Monitor HSSE performance and KPIs and make sure they are properly reported through the different
channels i.e. MOR, Performance Report, Group consolidation dashboards, etc..
• In line with the RCP, planned for proper ressources (quantity and skills) in order to maintain a proper
projects execution.
• Make sure a proper onboarding is done for all new comers, both for offices and site positions.
• Identify potential HSSE risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Make sure that regular
HSSE audits are conducted to ensure compliance with GEMS.
• Provide Group Function with feedback from execution / operational level to update our governance
as needed be.
• Review and approve HSSE CTRs and manning plan during the proposal process
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HSSE standards and best practices. Analyze
the applicability of new tools and processes to improve HSSE.
• Together with the Proposal & Process Manager, make sure that the part of the GEMS where GRS
ESG is Process Owner is updated with the latest improvements and lessons learnt
• Review and Approval of all VQRs and SQRs in the system
• Mentor the GRS HSSE teams on Day to Day Safety aspects
• Establish a team of SME (subject mater experts) within GRS HSSE to participate and mentor persons
involved in all critical activities.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Health, Management, Technical, Science, Education, Industrial, Business, or Graduate fields.
- Hold releavant HSSE certification against international standards: ISO, OSHA, NEBOSH, CSP, etc...
Experience
- 10+ Years of Experience in HSSE: This should include teams management in an international environement. • Proven experience in managing global HSSE programs and leading cross-functional teams.
