Purpose
- As Operations Readiness Manager, you are responsible to coordinate the various Operations Readiness deliverables assigned to your project.
- You will ensure that the client and Joint Inventory contracts requirements are respected, and ensure that the project is delivered on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- You act as the SBM Operation Readiness focal point for the client; Monitor and engage with client organisation on important subject (only).
- You ensure delivery of Operations Readiness scope (on nominated portfolio) on schedule and budget as defined in TMS, ensuring that ALL requirements of Operations Readiness/RFO (and future O &M) contracts are complied with.
- You review project TMS for Operation Readiness at early stage (if possible) and develop implementation strategies.
- You develop with Operations Readiness project control team the baseline schedule for the Operations Readiness activities.
- You participate to select and ensure timely mobilization of key Operations Readiness team personnel (Operability Lead Engineer, OIM, SUPTs)
- You ensure OR team participate to HSSE initiative, especially during yard phase.
- You attend few project assurance activities to assess team performance and suggest improvements when relevant.
- You organize with project control team a three-monthly Risk and Opportunity review for the projects under his responsibility.
- You ensure implementation of OR quality assurance processes and organize monthly review
- You facilitate efficient and proper technical hand-over between Project and SBM OPERATIONS
- You act as escalation focal point for any Operation Readiness comments not satisfactorily addressed by PMT
- You issue, together with project control team, OR project close-out report highlighting lessons learnt
Education
- Marine Qualification (Master or Chief Engineer) or a University Degree in a relevant subject.
Experience
- At least 10 years experience in a relevant industry sector, ideally the Offshore Oil & Gas or Energy sector
- 5 years minimum experience in Oil and Gas business
- Relevant experience in managing position
- 2 years minimum experience with Operations/Shorebase
