Duration: 6 months

Project and Locationn: MPF SWS Site

ROLE PURPOSE

The SITE PIPING ENGINEER reports to the piping engineer leader and EPM.

Role and responsibilities are as follows:

Review PIPING deliverables (piping specification, valve specification, stress analysis);

Review PIPING related information shown in MARINE deliverables (like P&ID);

Review technical agreement with vendor and yard to ensure selected supplier is qualified and meet project requirements.

Assist the BUILDER in the preparation of the PIPING deliverables via direct interface with BUILDER's engineers;

Review vendor documents, coordinate with vendors, third party consultants, etc. to ensure timely review of documents and that comments are made with required quality level;

Address piping construction issues, prepare technical query reply. Seek clarification or guidance as soon as difficulties arise; recommend alternative solutions;

Identify areas requiring more detailed instructions and clarify understanding/expectation as necessary with Discipline Lead; ensure no surprises;

Complete tasks assigned by piping engineer leader or engineering project manager.

Required skills:

Familiar with international standards and Classification Society Rules (ABS/BV preferred);

Familiar with the software Navisworks, CAESAR II.  AVEVA MARINE or PDMS will be better.

Experience in the area of material selection for piping components.

Be sef-motivated and rich of problems solve skill.

Must have JD mentioned working experience, better have FPSO experience.
