Purpose
- During the project phase, the Project ICSS Specialist is responsible for overseeing and supporting the operations readiness of of all ICSS, packages’ control and Safety systems as well as communications systems on the FPSO.
- This includes ensuring that modifications, testing, and verifications are executed in alignment with operational requirements, facilitating a smooth transition to steady-state operations and long-term asset integrity.
Responsibilities
- You work closely with the project and commissioning teams to verify that all ICSS, packages’ control and Safety systems as well as communications systems are correctly installed and functional.
- You provide operational input during installation and modifications, ensuring compliance.
- You review loop checks, function tests, and integration of ICSS, packages’ control and Safety systems.
- You ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- You collaborate with the commissioning team to address punch list items and resolve operational concerns.
- You ensure all ICSS, packages’ control and Safety systems as well as communications systems are safely integrated and prepared for operational handover.
- You perform walkdowns and verification activities to verify project standards are met with project and commissioning and ensure ICSS, packages’ control and Safety systems as well as communications systems are functioning as designed.
- You document and track deficiencies (punch list), ensuring corrective actions are completed before system handover.
- You enforce strict adherence to HSE policies during integration and maintenance activities.
- You prepare to Start-up the unit and start the ICSS packages.
Education
- Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND or University degree in Electrical / Instrumentation or local equivalent.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as ICSS Specialist offshore is strongly preferred.
- Prior project experience, including exposure to engineering phases and yard activities, is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of PTW, Risk Assessment.
- SIEMENS PLC 7 Certified, CYBER Security Certification, i.e.. SIKER ICS 405 or SANS ICS 410 ILCS/SCADA.
