Assets Integrity Group - Process Stability Department - Offshore Process Engineer

This position reports functionally to Process Stability Manager and whilst offshore, to the OIM.



Your role is to reinforce process technical support offshore, on business critical units.

You will support the production team with day to day optimization and troubleshooting in particular owning the process digital tools.

You lead investigation for process related incidents.

Ensure production procedures are up to date and relevant

You provide process engineer input for MoC (OTQ, SCR etc.) as required.

You will be the focal point offshore for process technical enquiries and studies (RAM, Digital, LL, Fleet Support)

You will replace production superintendent as required – tasks could include shutdown preparation, operator training, procedure planning

Support new projects in particular integrating pre first oil with the production team on start-up preparations.

Support with others in the process stability team (ICSS) om particular for alarms and controls initiative.



University degree, BSc or MSc in Chemical or Process Engineering.

Minimum of 6 months cumulated offshore experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas.
