Job description: (team, role in the team, tasks, expectations…)

  1. Strategy
    1. Support the Category Manager in the effective management of strategically important suppliers and the efficient global sourcing of key external workers.
    2. Collect and analyze the spend related to the category
  2. Supplier Qualification
    1. Lead the vendor qualification activities for the vendors identified as strategic in your category.
    2. Negotiation and contractualization of Frame Agreement with T2 suppliers of the category
    3. Support the Category Manager on the contractualization of Frame Agreement with T1 suppliers of the category
    4. Liaise with HR stakeholders and the business to ensure timely definition and implementation of requirements during contract negotiations with owner representatives
  3. Supplier Management
    1. support the Category manager in developing a long-term relationship with the strategic suppliers
    2. Provide constant input to Category Manager to develop and mature the market analysis in line with future projects requirement
    3. Provide support to Project & Operations teams when the relationship with the vendor is at risk (e.g. dispute & claims resolution, compliance performance, etc)
  4. Supplier Performance
    1. Monitor Category Agreement performance in line with Category objectives
    2. Ensure that best practices / lessons learned are captured, formalized, shared and implemented for continuous improvement – acting as memory keeper.
  5. Reporting
    1. Verify the status of POs and chase for payments.
    2. Prepare weekly progress report on purchasing activities (PR/PO/invoicing/payment status)

 

Job requirements:

Academic:  Any Graduate with 4 to 7 years of work experience   

Experience :

      • Familiar with procurement administration and purchasing systems, preferably IFS (AMOS & NADIA) and MS applications.
      • Familiar with purchasing regulations and legislation in the country of operation.
      • Understanding of service contracts
      • Fluent in written and spoken English.
      • Ability to travel internationally including offshore.

 

Behaviours &inter-personal skills - Key points: Soft skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) processes, systems, and best practices, especially in a Procure to Pay (P2P) context.
  • Knowledge of External workforce and risk associated.
  • Understanding of service contracts and external worker regulations
  • Labor Law expertise/background
  • Knowledge of external worker procedures and regulations
