Purpose
- As Compliance Officer you develop and implement speficic elements of the company's compliance program. You monitor compliance activities, conduct risk assessments, conduct internal investigations and provide guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- You contribute to the development and implementation of specific elements of the Company's compliance program, including establishing and maintaining effective compliance policies and procedures.
- You provide regular support to internal stakeholders on various topics covered by the Company's compliance program.
- You conduct regular assessments and audits to evaluate compliance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement and mitigating controls.
- You monitor and analyze regulatory changes and their impact on the Company.
- You act as a gatekeeper and ensure that policies and processes are understood and followed within the Company.
- You perform third-party due diligence reviews.
- You review contractual compliance provisions in relation to ethics and corruption, privacy and data protection, and export controls and trade sanctions.
- You prepare and deliver regular employee compliance training.
- You act as a compliance role model, engage with relevant stakeholders to share compliance trends and developments, and promote a compliance culture.
- You perform internal investigations of alleged violations of the Code of Conduct and other compliance policies and procedures.
- You prepare compliance reports and documentation.
- You mentor and guide junior team members.
- You contribute to the LC &C internal projects and initiatives in line with the Company’s goals and objectives.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in law or equivalent as a minimum.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Experience
- 3 to 9 years of cumulated experience within compliance or equivalent fields (legal, audit, etc.).
