Purpose
- As a Development Support Lead, you oversee and manage the support team, ensuring efficient resolution of development-related issues. Collaborate with development teams to improve processes, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the development and support of software applications, ensuring robust back-end development and adherence to best practices, including unit tests and peer code review.
- Coordinate front-end development in collaboration with UX designers and product owners, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Manage the deployment pipeline, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Instruct and mentor less experienced team members, ensuring the team has clear objectives aligned with business goals.
- Troubleshoot common issues in software application development, providing guidance and solutions to ensure project continuity.
- Maintain and optimize technical discipline guidelines, contributing to the maintenance and optimization of technical processes.
- Assist in prioritizing and defining development tasks to manage conflicting deadlines effectively, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are met.
- Understand project requirements and collaborate with the project manager and SCRUM master to accurately forecast man-hours, resource needs, and completion dates for deliverables.
- Responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of software development and support processes, fostering continuous improvement, and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary security measures."
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field is required. Certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), PMP (Project Management Professional), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors. A Master's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- "Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT operations, software development support, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
