Purpose
- As a Global Digital Solutions Manager, you lead the creation and implementation of digital solutions and innovative technologies in the set of Digital Solutions that you are responsible of. You drive digital transformation, oversee development teams, and ensure projects align with business goals to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Lead and participate in the development of digital solutions, ensuring robust end-to-end development and deployment.
- New Solutions: Ensuring that any new Digital initiatives will leverage the Digital Ecosystem of solutions in order to minimize the number of Solutions and foresee the potential of any integration within this Portfolio
- Team Coordination: Assign to the various Digital Solution Engineers and Managers the new or continuous improvement initiatives that is defined in the Global Improvement Portfolio (3Y plan) and Operating Plan
- Guidelines and Best Practices: Develop and maintain digital development guidelines and best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient software delivery.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to digital development and innovation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, set clear objectives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Project Management: Manage the project lifecycle from concept to deployment, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure the digital development pipeline is optimized for continuous delivery and integration.
- Trend Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of digital innovation.
- Agile and DevOps: Drive the adoption of Agile and DevOps methodologies to enhance development efficiency and collaboration. Provide inputs during Tendering Phase, to define the best valuable digital proposition for the Company by gathering the inputs from the Business. Ensure to have a strong and efficient Run model for all Digital Solutions inside this set of solutions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), or similar are preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Digital solutions or related field with a strong Technical Discipline experience.
- Proven experience in developing and managing digital solutions, including web and mobile applications.
- Strong proven experience on Digital projects using Time series, Intelligent Agents or Software implementation.
