Purpose

  • Ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of the Warehouse by managing load and backload, reception and inventory, internal logistics and staff supervision. This role optimizes processes, reduces costs, and mitigates risks, directly contributing to the success of offshore activities.

Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise receiving, storing and dispatching goods while maintaining safety standards. Audit and report inventory. Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse. Keep up to date on the latest authority’s and corporate safety regulations.
  • Supplier Coordination: Work together with subcontractors to ensure timely attendance to logistic operations and support to the FPSO Offshore operations securing delivery and quality of materials.
  • Team Leadership: Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads. Train and manage warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and compliance. Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping accordingly ERP system in use. Communicate with other departments and services to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Process Optimization: Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Continuously seek improvement to enhance efficiency. Monitor Warehousing performance and implement necessary methodologies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Identify and mitigate risks in the Logistics to prevent disruptions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s in business, Economics, Engineering or similar
  • Fluency in English.

Experience

  • Familiar with ERP system and proved experience (SAP, IFS, Others);
  • Solid experience as Warehouse and Material Management preferential for Oil & Gas Industry, Navy construction industry, Metalworking construction business (minimum in general industry).
