Purpose
- As Global Integrity Project Engineer, you support the Global Project Manager for Integrity and Inspection on multiple small-scale projects (about 50) within Integrity disciplines (Naval, Mooring, Piping and Pressure Vessels, Fabric Maintenance, Corrosion, Ex, and Topside Structure).
Responsibilities
- You liaise with all team members to gather the information required by the Project Manager.
- You maintain the project organization organigram.
- You prepare progress reports as required by the Project Manager or directly by the Global Organization (Integrity and Inspection Manager or Leads).
- You support the Project Manager in communication and reporting across all internal project members and external stakeholders.
- You assist the Project Manager with the macro-plan by analyzing, maintaining, and tracking the schedule of activities.
- You develop and maintain dashboards for project tracking and reporting.
- Depending on circumstances, you may organize and attend meetings on behalf of the Integrity Discipline Leads for specific projects or streams.
- You develop routines to control and build the budget for Integrity and Inspection, managing SBM man-hours, third-party expenditures, engineering activities, and subcontract management.
- You demonstrate experience in Project Controls activities, including reviewing, analyzing, maintaining, and tracking budget and financial forecasts.
- You are a proven team player capable of working in large, globally operating teams, showing strong communication skills and understanding of cultural challenges. This position may require international mobility.
Education
- University degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, naval, piping or marine preferred.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in Oil and Gas or related Industry
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Planning or similar tools, PowerBI
- Budgeting control tools (i.e. Business objects)
- ERP systems (i.e IFS)
- Strong Reporting and analysis capabilities
