Purpose

  • As Global Maintenance Strategy Engineer, you are responsible to guarantee the reliability of the units, through reliability studies and maintenance strategy review, reducing the breakdowns and costs, increasing the revenue.
  • You provide guidance and business rules for strategy standardization to the fleet.

Responsibilities

  • You design and develop maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance plans, to enhance equipment performance and longevity.
  • You recommend and implement improvements to maintenance practices based on data analysis and feedback.
  • Guarantee compliance with Performance Standards.
  • You ensure that the management system related to Maintenance (GEMS) is up to date.
  • You analyze maintenance and operational data to identify trends and provide insights for strategy optimization.
  • You validate and manage the calculation of reliability figures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • You support in FMEA conduction.
  • You have the Governance and execution of Change Request Strategy Level.
  • You contribute for FCA analysis.
  • You conduct reliability analysis, including failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), to identify and mitigate potential failure points.
  • You implement predictive maintenance techniques using data and statistical tools to anticipate equipment failures.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.

Experience

  • Experience in maintenance management 
  • Oil and gas experience (desired)
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning and CMMS.
