Purpose
- As a Logistics Officer, you play a pivotal role in managing logistics activities, from coordinating shipments to ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to remote locations.
Responsibilities
- You manage offshore and onshore logistics, coordinating timely shipments to remote sites
- You plan and schedules shipments, ensuring inventory levels meet project and operations requirements
- You liaise with suppliers, service providers, and transport companies
- You ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards
- You support the analysis of logistics data to optimize costs and improve processes
- You manage customs clearance and relations with vendors relationships
- Requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, plus relevant experience in logistics or transportation.
Experience
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management, ideally within the oil and gas or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage logistics coordination, including shipping, inventory, and documentation.
- Strong familiarity with logistics software, ERP systems, and industry regulations or compliance requirements.
