Purpose

  • As a Logistics Officer, you play a pivotal role in managing logistics activities, from coordinating shipments to ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to remote locations.

Responsibilities

  • You manage offshore and onshore logistics, coordinating timely shipments to remote sites
  • You plan and schedules shipments, ensuring inventory levels meet project and operations requirements
  • You liaise with suppliers, service providers, and transport companies
  • You ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards
  • You support the analysis of logistics data to optimize costs and improve processes
  • You manage customs clearance and relations with vendors relationships
  • Requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, plus relevant experience in logistics or transportation.

Experience

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management, ideally within the oil and gas or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage logistics coordination, including shipping, inventory, and documentation.
  • Strong familiarity with logistics software, ERP systems, and industry regulations or compliance requirements.
