Purpose
- As Maintenance Lead, you are responsible for managing and executing the maintenance activities of an offshore unit. This role involves overseeing the maintenance backlog, coordinating with the maintenance superintendent and team, and ensuring that resources are effectively mobilized for major maintenance tasks. You are also responsible for maintaining the integrity of maintenance data, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting both corrective and planned maintenance efforts to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- You manage the maintenance backlog for a specific offshore unit, ensuring that tasks are prioritized and executed efficiently.
- You align with the Maintenance Superintendent and team to develop and implement strategies for effective backlog management.
- You plan and mobilize resources for major maintenance activities, ensuring all necessary personnel, tools, and materials are available.
- You coordinate with offshore supervisors and superintendents to ensure technical competency and effective execution of maintenance tasks.
- You oversee the execution of routine maintenance offshore, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- You update and maintain the unit's maintenance budget master plan, providing regular reports on progress and financial performance.
- You ensure that the maintenance system is accurately populated with data, including the correct logging of corrective maintenance tasks.
- You monitor the unit's maintenance KPIs to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with operational goals and performance standards.
- You approve purchase requisitions and oversee the CR (Change Request) process to ensure timely and appropriate procurement and maintenance adjustments.
- You ensure that offshore supervisors and superintendents possess the necessary technical skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- You develop and define the scope of work for planned shutdowns, ensuring that all maintenance activities are well-coordinated and executed.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,, Metallurgical/Materials Engineering or Automation Engineering.
Experience
- Experience in maintenance management
- Oil and gas experience (desired)
